Get those engines started! The Daytona 500 is February 22, 2015. Nicknamed "The Great American Race," the Daytona 500 is the biggest, most expensive, and most prestigious race in America. With a long history of heart-wrenching defeats, come from behind victories, famous duels, photo finishes and top-of-the-line entertainment, the race is one of the most anticipated in American sports. No NASCAR race would be complete without tailgating, so grab some friends and get in the spirit before you head out to watch Jeff Gordon, Danica Patrick, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and other house-hold names compete for the title of NASCAR's most grueling race.

For car enthusiasts, Daytona Swap Meets also present an excellent time to learn, view, buy, and sell classic cars. Held throughout the year, these car shows are ever-increasing in popularity and offer entertainment for every age!

So get your engines revving with a stay at The Shores Resort & Spa. Conveniently located near Daytona International Speedway and a multitude of swap meets, the beachfront hotel will ensure your vacation is memorable. Book your room now and make sure you don't miss a moment of the fun!
