Beach-Lovin' Bikers Get Ready! Daytona Bike Week 2014 is Here!

The Harleys are moving into town! With the 73rd annual Daytona Bike Week 2014 just around the corner, it's time to get your bikes out and helmets on. As one of the biggest and most exciting Bike Weeks in the country, Daytona is ready to impress. Scheduled from March 7 - 16, 2014, Daytona Bike Week is jam-packed with events, activities, races and demonstrations. Scheduled events include professional motorcycle races, custom bike shows and much more.

With roots in motorcycle racing, Daytona has drawn huge crowds over the past three decades, bringing over one million motorcycle enthusiasts from around the globe together for a week of Harleys, leather, motocross racing and good times. Bikes that once raced each other on the sand of Daytona, the "World's Most Famous Beach," now face each other annually at the Daytona Beach International Speedway.

  • Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra Concerts

    The Museum presents two special Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra concerts on September 28th - a special matinee concert for children has been added this year! Join us for "Swingin' with the Smithsonian Junior" on Saturday, September 28th from 2-3pm at MOAS.

     

    Admission to "Swingin' with the Smithsonian Junior" is free for MOAS members and their children or $7 for non-members.  

     

    From 7-9pm, the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra (SJMO) will perform "Swingin' with the Smithsonian," featuring vocalist Lena Seikaly with selections from the Ella Fitzgerald song book. 

     

    Tickets to the evening event are $15 for MOAS members and $30 for non-members.
