The Shores Resort & Spa Earns Daytona Beach Area’s Only AAA Four Diamond Designation
AAA Auto Club South recently announced its 2009 Four and Five Diamond Award recipients. The Shores Resort & Spa earned the Daytona Beach area's only honor and its AAA Four Diamond distinction for the third consecutive year. Representing the upper echelon of the hospitality industry, AAA Four and Five Diamond Award winners make up the top 3.4 percent and 0.28 percent respectively of the 58,000 Diamond Rated lodgings and restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The assignment of a AAA rating of One to Five Diamonds marks the completion of a successful annual evaluation. All properties must first meet AAA's rigorous requirements to become AAA approved.
