New Smyrna Beach
New Smyma Beach has the distinction of being known as the Shark Bite Capital of the World. Although you won't be running anywhere near any real sharks! This is a Certified Road Race, not a beach run, featuring a Half Marathon and 5k challenge, as well as a Shark Bite Kiddie Dash. The course offers the best that New Smyma Beach has to offer with breathtaking views throughout. Crossing both causeways (bridges) giving wonderful views of the intracoastal waterway and ocean, and then meandering through both historic downtown districts: Flagler Ave and Canal St.

Daytona Beach
Celebrating its 11th year, the Daytona Beach Half Marathon features a Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, Beach'n it 5k, and Lap The Track 5k. For those looking for a real challenge, they can participate in the Dual 5K Challenge and tackle a 5K each day, or take on the Speedway Challenge and complete the Beachin' It 5K Saturday night and Half Marathon Sunday!
The event features an ionic half marathon route, starting on the track of the Daytona International Speedway, heading to the hard packed sands of "The World's Most Famous Beach" and finishes with a photo across from the Speedway at One Daytona. The beachside scenic route brings runners from all over the country, this is a runner's event you can't miss!

The 2nd Annual Your Heart Matters run and walk is in support of spreading awareness about heart disease while helping the Halifax Health keep funds local to help fight heart disease in our community. The course will start off in front of Halifax Health's France Tower and loop around the medical center to provide a challenging .6 mile of running/walking up the tallest, six-story parking garage in Daytona - with an amazing view of Daytona at the top! Get your heart pumping before you enter on to Daytona State's Campus before ending the race back at the France Tower to enjoy a heart healthy breakfast at the finish line.

Ormond Beach
A Boston Marathon Qualifier, the Tomoka Marathon features a Half Marathon and 5K, and has been voted as one of the "Top 20 Marathons in the US" by BibRave100. Its one-of-a-kind, beautiful and unique multi-distance route will take runners through natural and historic Florida, including Tomoka State Park and the Intracoastal Waterway. The Scenic Highway route is popular with locals and travellers alike as they enjoy the most diverse natural "Old Florida" scenery.

The Not so Gnarly 5K Beach Run benefits the R.J. Longstreet Elementary P.E. Department. The route runs along the beach in front of Frank Rendon Park, Daytona Beach Shores. The benefit run/walk features: custom medals for ALL finishers, t-shirts guaranteed for all pre-registered participants registered by March 18th, raffles, refreshments, and music.

Daytona Beach Bandshell
At over 50 years, this festive, Easter-themed beach run has become the oldest footrace in Florida. Participants enjoy a scenic run on the World's Most Famous Beach while traveling out and back for a 4-mile race, 2-mile fun run or health walk. Kids are also welcome to participate in the 1/4-mile race, 100 and 50-yard dash.

Port Orange
Lighthouse Loop will raise funds to support the ten public high school athletic departments of Volusia County. Both routes begin near the base of the Dunlawton bridge in Port Orange, FL. The Half Marathon route will take runners south to loop around the historic Ponce Inlet lighthouse with the return trip along the Intracoastal Waterway and over the bridge to finish adjacent to Aunt Catfish's On the River. The 5K route is a scenic out and back along the mainland side of the Intracoastal to the same finish line and great party!

DeBary
Located midway between Orlando and Daytona Beach, the Central Florida Legends Marathon in DeBary takes place on the paved trails of West Volusia County. Legends events are a part of the Live Your Life Well Race Series sponsored by Halifax Health. The Central Florida Legends include the Skunk Ape Full Marathon, Mermaid Half Marathon and Fountain of Youth 5K. The routes traverse paved trails, roads and parks full of Old Florida flora, fauna and charm. They are also flat and fast!
