A Rare Tribute to a Racing Legend

Step into a piece of racing history at The Shores Resort & Spa during the Joe Petrali Traveling Exhibit, October 17–18. Known as one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time, Petrali set the legendary 1937 land-speed record on Daytona Beach’s sands—an achievement that stood for over a decade.

This exclusive exhibit features rare artifacts, trophies, and personal memorabilia shared by the Petrali family, plus a full-size bronze sculpture of Joe on his iconic Harley-Davidson EL Streamliner—on loan from the Wheels Through Time Museum. Guests can also enjoy tastings of the award-winning 2020 Nero d’Avola, a Sicilian red wine available only at The Shores, along with limited-edition merchandise and a special raffle.
